Our Mission
At The Backwoods Blueprint, we believe in the beauty and healing effects of living close to nature. Our lodging is a dry cabin that comfortably sleeps 4 and is nestled on 100 acres with multiple walking paths for visitors to safely explore. Here, you can relax and reconnect with nature so you leave feeling rested and focused.
We also have four primitive camping spots with access to the walking trails, firepits and on-site bathroom.
Why Choose Us
Close to Town & Activities
Nestled in the Pontotoc County, you'll feel the peace and quite of the countryside while also being only 10 minutes from Main Street, the Pavillion, Tanglefoot Trail and shopping.
Reset and Reconnect
Our main cabin finds the perfect balance between comfort and resilience, giving you the chance to really decide what matters. Our solar panels provide everything you need to stay powered while still powering down from daily life.
Touch Grass & Explore
With maintained trails, trail signs and a detailed map, visitors have the opportunity to explore and spot wildlife. You can find a natural spring, trees older than the oldest living human and plenty of deer and birds.

Jamie Rivers
"I really like how simple it is. We spent our days walking around, visiting the town and just enjoying nature.
Alex and Morgan
"The sunsets out here are unreal. Great date spot or if you need somewhere during a roadtrip."
Emily Johnson

"Man is as much attached to nature as a tree, and though he walks freely on two legs and is not rooted in the soil ... his life depends absolutely on the same factors as the tree."
Alan Watts
